It's a deal, it's a steal
It was the sale of the century!!!
But more about that later... Life is good, it would appear I'm very similar to a cat on these travels, not that I have 9 lives and spend most of my time lazing about but that I always land on my feet. After the excitement of being evicted and moving to the beach I now find myself in a great flat in Bondi sharing with three others and having a ball and trying to kill myself in some rather large surf on Bondi Beach and generally having fun.
But back to the main story, yes it was truly the sale of the century, my work as the grim reaper's right hand man selling death to the nation has clearly paid off and with the odometer showing 19,997km on the road since leaving Perth I parted company from Brucetta. Now I don't know if I've spoken of the sorry state of the old girl when I bought her for just $1000 about nine months ago but however bad it was after the tlc I showed her on the roads she's worse now.
I know what you're thinking, I sold her for a case of beer, a slice of pizza, I gave her away just to be shot of her..... but no, my weeks of refining my telesales skills came to the fore and I sold her for $1200!!! Yes you read that correctly I made $200 (about 80 pounds sterling) on the deal, woohoo!!!
So what else can I say as truly little can top it but, I turned 28 in style (or so I'm old having no recollection of most of the night) a few weeks ago so now can't deny I'm in my late 20s, on the bright side two of my new flat mates are 28 as well so I don't feel too bad.
I other news I've discovered...
I'm not as quick and a mouse trap or as tough as huge waves and banks of sand (sore finger and black eye to prove it),
a kebab at 7am tastes even better than two at 2am,
and
shopping trolley races and late night beach rugby are great!
Other than that not a lot is new, my grim reaper role ends in a few weeks so have to make a decision on what to do then, thinking maybe flight to Tasmania then on to Adelaide to start the drive back to perth in May then the world!!! In a few days time I'll of been away 12 months so having to make decisions on time scales before renewing my insurance so....
